Locate an open proxy and then configure your Browser to use this Open proxy for connecting to Internet. Also prove that all the Internet traffic from your PC passes through this open proxy server.
Steps involved:
Go to proxy4free.com or xroxy.com and note down the ip address and port number of an open proxy.
Goto ip-address.com (not ip-address.com). It will show the real ip and your country and city. Note down this information.
Open Internet Explorer , Go to Tools , Internet Options , Connections , LAN settings.
Select the Checkbox with the label "Use a Proxy Server for your LAN"
Enter the IP address and port number of the Open Proxy.
Check whether you are getting Internet. If you are not getting, then configure with some other open proxy.
Now, check your ip address by going to "ip-adress.com". It will NOT show your real ip address. Because your ip address is hidden by the proxy server. All your Internet traffic is now passed through the Open Proxy Server.
Once done, dont forget to revert back to the original setting of Internet Explorer.
